چکیده

Magnetite (Fe2+Fe3+2O4) is an iron-bearing mineral with magnetic properties. Mostly it obtained in its natural form. The purpose of our study to the effect magnetite on health. At first stage research, we carried out X-ray fluorescence and phase analyzes sand taken from beaches non-magnetic Black Sea coast, namely Ureki Chakvi. It can be seen research results that sands Chakvi differ composition, this difference not only magnetite, but (in crystalline phase) there are two spar, one. However, more quartz than Ureki.The rare composition likely determine health effects plan next research.

Magnetite and magnetotaxis in algae.

Magnetotactic algae of the genus Anisonema (Euglenophyceae) have been isolated from a coastal mangrove swamp in northeastern Brazil. The magnetotactic response is based on a permanent magnetic dipole moment per cell approximately 7 10(-10) emu. Each cell contains many magnetite (Fe(3)O(4)) particles organized in chains.
